Anna started dancing at a young age back in her hometown of Anchorage Alaska. Irish dance was where her passion began, she then transitioned to partner dancing with East Coast Swing! Upon moving to Cleveland, she discovered ballroom dancing and competed in the Pro-Am circuit in American Smooth and show dance. 

During this time, she was exposed to West Coast Swing (WCS) which has become her primary focus. The flexibility WCS provides and the corresponding music has won her over! In a dance where one can lead or follow, regardless of gender, it’s important to her to constantly grow her skills. A goal of hers is to help grow the WCS community by being present at as many events as possible in the Cleveland/Akron area helping others catch the WCS bug! She is beginning her competitive WCS career and travels to as many World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) events as she can. 

When Anna isn’t on the dance floor you can find her outdoors climbing or hiking in the Metroparks, playing board games with friends, or loving on her fur babies.
