Tabitha Miner
Tabitha Miner began dancing at two years old and has spent her life choreographing and teaching various styles of dance to children and adults of all ages. She grew up in Marquette Kansas, then attended Bowling Green State University (BGSU) where she double majored in Dance Performance and Vocal Performance. While at BGSU, she danced and choreographed for University Dance Alliance (UDA), an organization with more than 400 dancers. During her final year at college, she was elected as President of UDA where she organized 2 showcases, each with over 200 dancers performing for over 1000 audience members. Tabitha also enjoyed her time at BGSU with the BGSU Opera and Theater departments where she was the Dance Captain for both organizations. Today, she continues to dance as a Ballroom Dance Instructor for a company she started herself, Tabitha in Motion LLC. Tabitha has performed professionally in many events around Cleveland including the Cleveland Dance Sport Challenge where she placed first in the Theater Arts division, as well as for Browns games, Playhouse Square performances, Dance-based modeling for Docherty Agency, and as a part of Cleveland Dance Project. In addition to teaching at Viva Dance Studio, Tabitha also teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Aerial, and Contemporary for children ages 3-18. Tabitha has also choreographed for many Cleveland organizations including, Cleveland Dance Project, Access Theater Project, Western Reserve Playhouse, Shining Star Cleveland, and for Playhouse Square. Tabitha has a huge passion for dance and an even bigger passion for people!
